Faith - Gospel Values at Our Core
The instruction and formation in Gospel Values is central to our mission at Queen of Peace Girls Primary School. Our children have religious instruction each day in school, but the spiritual education of our children extends beyond this classroom instruction.
Each Day Begins with Prayer
Learners pray everyday beginning with morning prayers at 7.30am, Angelus at noon, Rosary prayers at 5.30pm and night prayers at 9.00pm. On Thursday the pupils attend Adoration and sacrament of reconciliation at 4.30pm. They also attend Mass everyday at 6.30am.
Every end of the term the pupils also have Recollection and closing Mass. Apart from the above Exercises, the pupils also go outside Lodwar to animate Mass once a term as a way of evangelisation. Our pupils too participate actively in Lenten period prayer and discuss and agree among themselves what they will fast and forward to the administration.

First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion
In the second grade the children receive the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Holy Communion. Children are prepared for these sacraments over the course of two years (first and second grade year).
Catechism Classes
Every year our pupils receive the sacrament of baptism and holy communion after undergoing the catechism classes for the whole year.
Not Catholic? You Are Welcome!
While we are a Catholic School and share the teachings of the Catholic Church, we joyfully welcome non-Catholic students to join our school community. In fact, 38 percent of our students are not Catholic.
All students take part in every aspect of the school day, including weekly Mass. We encourage our non-Catholic students and guests to join in the Communion celebration by coming forward to receive a special blessing.
